MCC | Medical Cobotics Centre
MCC Launched: The iHub Anubhuti-IIITD Foundation and iHub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC) have jointly launched the ‘MCC-Medical Cobotics Centre’ at IIIT Delhi. The center is India’s first tech-enabled medical simulation and training facility for professionals, including doctors, paramedics, technicians, engineers, biomedical researchers, and entrepreneurs.
The Medical Cobotics Centre is a Centre of Excellence providing education, training, and skill development for doctors, engineers, paramedical staff, students, researchers, and other relevant personnel. It also offers a comprehensive ecosystem for technology development, validation, and deployment. The centre boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure for research and development (R&D), simulation, and incubation facilities.

Objectives
The objectives of the MCC are as follows:
-
To provide long-term sustainable solutions to the country in medical systems and technologies.
-
To adopt a Participate, Invest, Collaborate, Execute (PICE) approach for the benefit of society by generating employment and engaging in the latest technology growth.
-
To stay connected with the medical industry to address their demands at every stage.
-
To focus on the indigenization of technology in healthcare.
-
To create a widespread network across India and abroad.
-

-
Innovation and Research Facility: A space where doctors and engineers collaborate to develop new technologies and devices, aiming to advance medical systems and benefit both patients and doctors. The MCC was established to strengthen the medical ecosystem for the greater good of humanity.
-
Incubation Center for Startups: Provides facilities to develop and test new prototypes, models, apps, or technologies, which can be introduced to the medical industry, academia, and other partners for mass production.
-
Biomedical Device Test Center: For testing new industrial products introduced by companies, assessing their acceptance, durability, efficiency, and performance to ensure desired results.
-
Display Center: Showcases use case scenarios conceptualized by students and researchers.
-
Simulation: Offers real-world scenarios for trauma and ACLT (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Training) training.
